Welcome
Sorry
What a whirlwind week it's been for the blog. From only getting 4-5 views a week for the last 2 weeks to suddenly getting 100+ views a day. That's absolutely amazing for me and I can never thank you lot who've taken time out of your day to check it out and then retweeted it on Twitter. Really, thank you so much. However, as much as I love putting up content, which I'm really enjoying right now, I cannot stand using Weebly. It's clear that it isn't a blogging website and is just for making websites. Therefore, I have decided to move the FM Journal over to WordPress, where I've already taken the content I've put up here. Hopefully this change in scenery won't affect the enjoyment for you and I hope that I'll still be able to put up content that I enjoy to make and most of all, that you enjoy to read.
Here's the link for the new blog on WordPress:

Cheers and I hope to see you all there,
Sid
NB: This blog will not get deleted by myself. The only way it can go is if it gets deleted by Weebly for being inactive for too long, so the posts I've made here will still be here for all to see, just I won't ever be using this again

Welcome!
Hello and welcome to the new and (hopefully) improved FM Journal. FM16 wasn't the greatest start for myself but maybe that was because I hadn't started early enough. That's why I've decided to start right at the beginning of FM17 and have just the one save, posting updates as regularly as I can on this blog. I'll be managing Beitar Jerusalem & Israel in a Club & Country save (more on that in an upcoming post). Big shoutout to Jacob, or on Twitter @FM0tter for making my manager icon which you see above. The manager for this save will be the legendary Julio César Arancibia, an absolute legend of my save this FM and arguably my most successful regen of all time.
Hope you enjoy the blog and any suggestions for feedback and improvement, please contact me on Twitter @theFMJournal, where I will reply to and read anything you have to say.
Cheers,
Sid
PS: Here are a few blogs that I advise checking out if you haven't already done so
1. FM Grasshopper: His Grasshopper save in FM16 was in my opinion the best save blogged on in the community and whatever he posts in FM17 is almost guaranteed to be of a high quality
2. Il Mediano: Thoroughly enjoyed his Napoli save last year and look forward to what he has to offer in FM17
3. Strikerless: Legendary. One of the most visited blogs in the community (if not the most) and rightly so.
4. Mr Keysi Rensie: Incredibly enjoyable save to follow in FM16 and I expect nothing less in FM17. Always a challenge but one you feel immersed in.
5. Thiago Oder Nichts: His Ipswich save was really fun to follow and I expect the same in FM17. Also the legend who made my manager picture as I said before. Great blog, great guy.
6. Volksrepublik Fussball: Loved his saves last year, particularly his Dnipro save with the Iron Curtain database. Will defnitely be looking forward to what he posts this year.
7: FMPressure: Advise checking him out if you enjoy high quality story telling. Loved his Auxerre updates and is always different.
8. The Wide Playmaker: Only started reading this recently with his Villareal save but it was great fun to read and I look forward to reading his Botafogo save in FM17
8. FMRambings: If you're a fan of long saves where you become completely immersed with the team, look no further. You have to check him out to get an idea of what I'm talking about
Note that these are in no particular order expect for where they are on my bookmarks list. Also, these aren't the only good ones. The community is filled with high quality blogs, some which I still haven't discovered yet.
